Calial McCarty,
MA, LMHCA, CAS
I have a passion for working with children and adolescents ages 0-17, adults and families. Throughout my lifetime, I have had the pleasure of working with community agencies, courts, schools, wrap around services, and other mental health programs. In the therapy space I value client voice, safety and self advocacy. I specialize in behavior analysis, developmental disabilities, co-occurring disorders, trauma informed care and psychotherapy for ages 0-17 years.
Children, youth and families are experiencing something unimaginable and are in need of more support than ever before in order to rebuild their foundation and to thrive once again. With connection, understanding and trust I use an eclectic approach to make an individualized plan for you to feel secure in navigating life’s challenges. Due to my experience working in schools and other community programs I have learned that art, play and story-telling are fundamental modalities founded in evidence based systems that are successful in the foundation of healing.
Currently as an LMHCA I have the pleasure of being supervised by other providers in my field who share my passions.
